StockByLocation Shopify inventory by location, on every product page.
Show shoppers which of your stores has their size or colour in stock, using the inventory you already manage in Shopify. Availability is live, follows the selected variant and needs no theme code.

01 The problem
“In stock” isn't the whole answer when you have more than one shop.
If you sell from several locations, shoppers want to know whether the variant they want is available at their store before they travel. When the product page doesn't say, they guess, give up, or call your staff to ask.
StockByLocation answers that question on the product page itself, using the inventory you already manage in Shopify.
02 How it works

Select locations
Choose which of your active Shopify locations to show, and optionally give each one a customer-friendly display name.

Customize the display
Pick status or exact quantities, set the low-stock threshold and write the messages in your own words.

Add it to your theme
“Add to theme” opens the theme editor on your product template. Place the Stock by location block and save.

Shoppers see it live
Availability is read from Shopify when the page loads and refreshes when the shopper picks another variant.

Rename “Warehouse NL-02” to something shoppers recognise, without touching Shopify settings.

Below your threshold (3 by default), show a message such as “Only 2 left”.
Configurable text
Edit every status message. Use {{quantity}} to insert the live number.
Variant-aware
Availability updates as soon as a shopper switches size, colour or any other option.

Hide out-of-stock locations, or show each location's street and city.

Before you install.
Does StockByLocation work with my theme?
It works with themes that support app blocks on the product page, which includes Online Store 2.0 themes such as Shopify's free Dawn theme. You add the Stock by location block in the theme editor; no theme code is edited.
Which locations can I show?
Any active location in your Shopify admin, such as retail stores, showrooms or warehouses. You choose which ones appear and can give each a customer-friendly display name.
Is the stock shown live?
Yes. Availability is read from Shopify when the product page loads and again when a shopper picks another variant. Inventory isn't copied into our database.
Can StockByLocation change my inventory or products?
No. The app only reads products, inventory and locations. It has no permission to change stock, products or prices.
Do shoppers see exact quantities?
That's your choice: show a status such as “In stock” or “Only 2 left”, or the exact available quantity. You can also hide locations that are out of stock.
What does it cost, and how do I cancel?
The Starter plan is $3.99 USD per month after a 14-day free trial, billed through your Shopify invoice. Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin ends the subscription.

Privacy
Minimal by design
StockByLocation stores your app settings and the Shopify session it needs to reach your store. Inventory is read live and not copied into our database. The app doesn't store information about your customers.
